The Wednesday Team
It is with sadness that we have to report that the Wednesday Team is no longer performing concerts. This is because their leader and musical director for the last 20 years, Mr Clifford Riley, has decided to retire at only 87 years young! They regularly performed concerts at a range of venues during the Christmas period. The team was formed in 1986, when ringers of retirement age wanted the opportunity to ring bells in the afternoon instead of turning out in the evenings,-especially the dark winter ones.
